The present investigation identified that there is a relationship between the two variables studied, motivation and productivity. Because the research was based on Herzberg's theory of motivation, we can visualize the existence of a positive and significant relationship between hygiene factors (comprised of working conditions, occupational safety, economic factors and additional benefits) and productivity. At the same time, it is also important to consider the motivational factors (understood by achievement, self-realization, recognition, growth and responsibility) since they can stimulate and favor the productivity of employees. In other words, the greater the satisfaction of hygiene and motivation factors, the greater the inclination of workers to feel committed to the organization and will seek to develop their potential to the maximum by directly increasing their productivity. Therefore, it is essential that all companies have an efficient motivation program within their processes to produce greater productivity in their workers and generate greater benefits to the organization
