The present research work entitled: "Relationship between work stress factors and the performance of pharmaceutical retail workers in Metropolitan Lima, 2022", consists of determining whether the stress factors and their dimensions; quality and quantity of work and organizational culture and climate are related to work performance and its dimensions; sense of commitment and expected completion of tasks. The research design is non-experimental, of a transactional type, where a quantitative instrument is applied: the survey; whose data have a reliability level (Cronbanch Alpha coefficient) of 0.821, which indicates that they are consistent. The sample of analysis is 353 administrative collaborators of the 3 main pharmaceutical retail companies. Likewise, the statistical test to analyze the information is Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient. From the results, it is concluded that; In the first place, there is a relationship between the factors of work stress and the performance of the collaborators. Second, there is an inverse correlation between the dimensions of work stress and the employee's performance, as well as an inverse relationship between the factors of work stress and the dimensions of work performance, that is, when the level of one increases, the other decreases. Third, the correlation between the variables is weak, so we infer that there could be other factors that are also related to the variables and which should be analyzed in further research. Next, we will see the details of each analysis in the next chapters.
