The present research had the objective of understanding the contribution of logistics chain management in the export of pomegranate arils with national subheading 0810.90.90.00 from the Lima region to the United States, during the period 2017 - 2021. The objectives of the study were developed based on the theoretical and methodological contributions of the study by Remondino and Zanin (2022) and those of Borate (2020). The research was developed under the qualitative approach and grounded theory, identifying as population a total of 61 agro-exports companies of pomegranate arils registered as of 2021, in the city of Lima. The results showed that logistics chain management has made a significant contribution to the export of this product, since the productive characteristics of the agri-food sector from which the production of pomegranate arils derives have had a positive impact, as have supply chain optimization strategies, although there is not an equal majority perception in terms of the modernization of the logistics chain.
