In Peru there is no change in awareness in the use of plastics, although it is true, the State has implemented measures to reduce use, but these have not been enough. Faced with the need for change, brands carry out campaigns and communications to generate pro-environmental support, called green advertising. The current study has a qualitative perspective, since it analyzes how the students of the last cycle of Environmental Engineering of the Scientific del Sur University perceive green advertising in the campaign "The true predators" of National Geographic to raise awareness of the environmental problems facing the country. This is an interpretive and phenomenological investigation where the data collection technique is the semi-structured interview that was carried out with 18 participants, obtaining among some of the results their perception and the importance of a great diffusion of an impressive message for a true change of consciousness in favor of the environment and its fauna and flora in our country.
