The traditional discourse of masculinity has been the object of negative questioning by men and women, and the influence of the Hallyu Wave has emerged a new way of understanding masculinity under values such as sensitivity and inclusiveness. “Hybrid masculinity’’ provides a better understanding of how men’s identification of models that contradict the gender norm develops. So the aim of this paper is to find out whether the Natura brand, in a commercial of its Homem and Faces lines, can conceptualize “hybrid masculinity’’ in order to change the representation of the male consumer. In this connection, a qualitative approach was used through semi-structured interviews in 20 female followers of the Hallyu Wave aged 18 to 26 years. This resulted in their acceptance and evidence that diversity is the key to representing non-hegemonic men. In turn, moving men away from apatic attitudes makes them closer and more real. This knowledge contributes to adapting advertising strategies in the category of beauty and personal care, invaded by harmful aspirational stereotypes, in order to keep it updated to the trends of consumption and representation of the male public. In the same way, it delves into the perceptual theme that serves as theoretical knowledge.
