The purpose of this research is to determine which leadership styles affect job satisfaction in non-governmental development organizations (NGDOs) in Cusco in 2020. The main objective of this research is to identify whether transformational, transactional, corrective and passive/avoidant leadership styles have a positive or negative impact on the organizational satisfaction of employees. The research is quantitative with a correlational approach, which allows us to know the relationship between variables, and has a non-experimental design. The sample was made up of middle management workers of the NGODs located in Cusco. Two instruments were used to collect the information: the short version of the Multifactorial Leadership Styles Questionnaire (MLQ-5x) with 45 items was used to measure leadership, and the Organizational Satisfaction Questionnaire S21/26 with 26 items was used to measure job satisfaction. The analysis of the information was carried out through the SPSS program by means of various tests, from which the Pearson correlation coefficient was obtained, which helped us to determine the correlation between the variables of satisfaction and leadership. As for the results, we can affirm that there is a relationship between leadership styles and organizational satisfaction that in certain cases affects positively or negatively.
