Choosing a seismic response with unique site characteristics is critical to avoid oversizing or poor structural design. Therefore, predicting a specific behavior during a real seismic event is the optimal choice to prevent excess steel in structural elements. It has been observed that when carrying out seismic studies, data from other countries has been collected without considering the impact that accelerographic records could have due to their geological characteristics or site parameters, and even the tectonic regime, nor considering that there are different types of movements seismic. Therefore, we cannot affirm that a fault other than the characteristics of the site will generate a similar seismic behavior. Therefore, its spectrum and its behavior with respect to the period is different. Due to this, we cannot support that a transform fault and subduction will generate an accurate, adequate, and optimal record which can be accommodated for a seismic study of an isolated building. Therefore, in this research, the influence of the scaled seismic record with different failure mechanisms will be studied, and if it has an important impact on the structural reinforcement of the building. Therefore, to evaluate the influence of the logs, the main characteristics for a design were considered, which are displacements, drifts, floor shear and base shear. At the same time, the Peruvian earthquake-resistant technical standards and the use of seismic isolators continued to be complied with. To achieve this, an analysis of seismic hazard was presented considering a seismic microzoning map of the city of Ica and the most characteristic universal seismic records were selected considering their tectonic regime. The seismic analysis was carried out with the Dynamic Time History Method with the Etabs software, which considered the records scaled in SeismoMatch.
