The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of the use of digital wallets on the tax collection of the shops in the district of San Martín de Porres, Urbanization Peru Zone I and II, year 2020. This district is one of the districts of the Northern Zone which houses many warehouses, according to the INEI. However, many of these can evade or elude taxes due to the district they have towards the administration of resources carried out by the State and due to the little knowledge regarding the tax culture. The digital era that is being presented worldwide is a fact that cannot go unnoticed, much more so in businesses where the famous digital wallets that gained a lot of notoriety during the COVID 19 pandemic are used, since it was necessary to make payments without the need for the physical contact. The practicality, security, and easy use of these caused a preference for commerce. This research begins with the study of the population and the sample size of the district of San Martin de Porres, in which quantitative research was conducted with the owners of the warehouses; and the qualitative research was based on interviews with experts in the tax and financial environment. Additionally, SPSS statistical software tools were used to validate the main hypothesis and the first specific hypothesis where it is concluded that the use of digital wallets does have an impact on the tax collection of the warehouses.
