Since covid-19 began, different types of companies in Peru had to adapt their workflows or change the way in which the public was served due to social distancing restrictions. The fast-food restaurant sector began to work hand in hand with delivery applications such as Rappi and Uber Eats. Given this, a new mechanism defined as self-service technologies (SST) is beginning to be implemented in these establishments. In the following investigation, a proposal is made for a mobile application system with SST for Android devices. The purpose of this system is to improve customer service time. On one hand, this software will oversee creating an order depending on the restaurant's available products, to finally create a quick response code that can be scanned by restaurant assistants. On the other hand, the backend will be developed with the Spring framework and the Java programming language. Finally, this project has been validated through a presentation to 20 end users with various professions and they were given a survey with 20 questions. The purpose of it was to show the main functionalities of the mobile application flow. The results obtained were an approval of 90% satisfied and another 30% contributed to the study with suggestions to improve the proposal. These suggestions focused on reducing the number of screens and greater fluidity in typing the user's personal information.
