The present research work is driven by the need to optimize the accounts payable process of the SNMPE, because in the execution of the process there are repetitive activities that generate work overload in the users, for which the entity wishes to reduce the execution time and the costs in the execution of the process. To develop this project, an investigation was carried out on possible alternatives that would optimize manual tasks. In the SNMPE, an analysis of the accounts payable process was carried out to provide a solution according to their needs and budget. Therefore, now the user wants it to be robotized in such a way that there is no human intervention in the execution of said set of tasks; It was decided to optimize the set of tasks belonging to the accounts payable process through an RPA, since it is the alternative that best fits the needs of the company. Then the RPA tool to be used was used, in the case of SNMPE the most convenient tool is Automation Anywhere, which is one of the most used RPA tools on the market for its easy configuration and implementation, and for the low cost of its license, which is ideal to reduce costs in the execution of the process. Next, the process model was developed with manual and repetitive tasks automated with RPA. Finally, a survey was carried out on the level of user satisfaction on the advantages that the implementation of the model would bring, such as the reduction of execution time, the cost of execution and the total elimination of operational errors, in said survey participation IT manager and process users. With the results of said survey, it was possible to validate that the degree of user satisfaction is high with respect to the advantages offered by the implementation of the proposed model, which complies with the process optimization guidelines of the SNMPE in order to carry out a total digital transformation.
