The objective of this research project is to implement a business intelligence (BI) model applied to a company in the interprovincial transport sector in Barranca, within its needs it includes automating the availability of the information management of the sale of your tickets. Part of it implies the collection of data, analysis and processing of the information that will be used as part of the output of the sales reports and graphic dashboards, which allows decision-making in a more agile and didactic way of the ticket sales process, avoiding the delays of manual processes. Therefore, for the development of the business intelligence model, various tools were analyzed for the creation of the ETL processing flow and also a platform for the creation of graphic dashboards. After performing the analysis, it was decided to use the following Microsoft Power Automate tools to automate the process from receiving the reports, sending them to AWS S3 as a repository in the Cloud, then proceeding to use Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) for data transformation. in order to be able to store the dimensions of the tables and the information in AWS Redshift and in the end the reports can be displayed graphically in PowerBI. For this case, data provided by the organization was used, of which concept tests were executed in order to validate the solution. Finally, having carried out the proof of concept, the expected result was the reduction in the time of availability of information in the process of ticket sales reports. Likewise, a more efficient way of working was adapted to the organization by generating reports and exporting the information in more interactive graphic boards where it allows them to analyze the processed information, with the possibility of creating better strategies for decision-making in the organization.
