The 1992 pension reform allows SNP affiliates to transfer to the SPP, although once the individual enters the SPP it is no longer possible for him to return to the public system, unless, according to Law 28991, he complies with the legal requirements established in the same, among which is the condition of having entered the SNP until December 31, 1995. This means that today for the majority of those affiliated with the SNP, the transfer to the SPP is an irreversible act. Based on the above and given the scarcity of studies related to the subject, the main objective of this work is to know the factors of the individual that influence the probability of transfer from the SNP to the SPP. For this, 2 panel databases (2012-2015 and 2016-2019) of at least 2-time units are taken as support, these are those built from the ENAHO, which, in addition, are the only panel-type databases available. Through non-linear Probit and Logit probability models, it is found that for the period of years 2012-2015, the individual factors that influence the probability of moving from the SNP to the SPP are age and place of residence, while that for the period of years 2016-2019, these factors are age, place of residence, occupational group and labor income.
