Resumen: El Perú es un país que posee una gran diversidad cultural, sin embargo, por falta de apoyo y difusión, se observa cómo año tras año, las oportunidades de explotar este gran potencial se desvanecen. Parte de esta riqueza multicultural, responde al arte musical que se tiene en la nación, por ello, con el afán de colaborar con el desarrollo de este enorme legado artístico se propone como tesis, el diseño de una nueva sede para el Conservatorio Nacional de Música, el cual, es la escuela superior más prestigiosa en formación musical del Perú, y precisamente, en la actualidad, se encuentra atravesando una situación de crisis por no contar con el apoyo institucional requerido ni con una infraestructura adecuada para continuar ejerciendo su función.
El proyecto pretende satisfacer todas las necesidades del conservatorio en cuanto a capacidad, cualidades arquitectónicas funcionales y diseño acústico de sus espacios, además como parte esencial del diseño, se propone utilizar la arquitectura musical y por medio de ella, generar un impacto positivo en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes y en la apreciación de los ciudadanos por la música. Por otra parte, se ofrece gran parte del diseño al desarrollo urbano de la ciudad al trabajar en él, espacios e infraestructura pública de uso general.
Finalmente, la nueva sede del Conservatorio Nacional de Música ubicada en el Cercado de Lima se configura como un proyecto educativo y cultural para beneficio de toda la sociedad limeña y el Perú.
Peru is a country that has a great cultural diversity, however, due to lack of support and dissemination, it is observed as year after year, the opportunities to exploit this great potential fade. Part of this multicultural wealth, responds to the musical art that is held in the nation, therefore, in order to collaborate with the development of this enormous artistic legacy, thesis is proposed, the design of a new headquarters for the National Conservatory of Music , which is the most prestigious school in music training in Peru, and precisely, at present, is going through a crisis because it does not have the required institutional support or adequate infrastructure to continue exercising its function. The project aims to meet all the needs of the conservatory in terms of capacity, functional architectural qualities and acoustic design of its spaces, as well as an essential part of the design, it is proposed to use the musical architecture and through it, generate a positive impact on learning of students and in the appreciation of citizens for music. On the other hand, much of the design is offered to the urban development of the city by working on it, spaces and public infrastructure for general use. Finally, the new headquarters of the National Conservatory of Music located in the Cercado de Lima is configured as an educational and cultural project for the benefit of all Lima society and Peru.
