The 2020 was a year of many challenges for Peru due to the arrival of COVID-19, which forced the government to take drastic measures that strongly affected the various industries of the economy. This thesis focus on the analysis of the textile manufacturing industry of Lima metropolitan, one of the affected industries by the social restrictions given by the health emergency in 2020, who viewed digital transformation (e-commerce, digital tools, technology, etc.) as an opportunity to continue operating. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship of digital transformation with the economic recovery of micro and small companies in the textile manufacturing industry in Lima metropolitan during 2020. For this, a cross-sectional study was applied, using as a research instrument an own elaboration survey that sought to know the degree of digital transformation and the degree of economic recovery in micro and small companies. The population taken into account for the study was 21,662 micro and small companies in the textile manufacturing industry in Lima metropolitan, a figure obtained from PRODUCE. The sample was calculated with the formulation of finite population, resulting in a sample of 226 companies. Finally, based on the results obtained in the surveys, to prove a correlation between the dependent and independent variable and the dimensions of the independent variable was sought, concluding that there is a correlation between both variables.
