Centro de atención integral para el adulto mayor en Cusco: comunidad de día y residencial bajo el concepto de In Between

Abstract

El presente documento nace de la problemática de las personas mayores olvidadas y su necesidad de una vivienda funcional y segura con espacios flexibles que se puedan adaptar a su movilidad. Esto se puede ver reflejado en la falta de infraestructura y oportunidades para el adulto mayor (PAM). Por lo que el proyecto responde a este usuario, siendo un proyecto integral, el cual cuenta con espacios intermedios con la finalidad de fortalecer la convivencia y vivencia.

El proyecto se llevará a cabo en Cusco, que actualmente es uno de los departamentos con gran presencia de adultos mayores, además se encuentra en el tercer lugar con mayor porcentaje de abandono y vulnerabilidad. Además, cuenta con un solo centro mixto, por lo que este equipamiento sería el pionero de la red asistencial del departamento. También, esta ciudad posee una riqueza cultural, por lo que el proyecto va responder a las condicionantes del lugar, entendiendo las tipologías, el clima, para el confort del usuario y la integración con el lugar.

This document stems from the problem of forgotten older people and their need for a functional and safe home with flexible spaces that can be adapted to their mobility. This can be seen reflected in the lack of infrastructure and opportunities for the elderly (PAM). Therefore, the project responds to this user, being an integral project, which has intermediate spaces in order to strengthen coexistence and experience.

The project will be carried out in Cusco, which is currently one of the departments with a large presence of older adults, and is also in third place with the highest percentage of abandonment and vulnerability. In addition, it has a single mixed center, so this facility would be the pioneer of the department's care network. Also, this city has a cultural richness, so the project will respond to the conditions of the place, understanding the typologies, the climate, for the comfort of the user and the integration with the place.
