For the non-alcoholic beverage sector, it is of the utmost importance to have optimized processes or be at the forefront of continuous improvement, this culture allows manufacturing processes to reduce times that do not generate value, defective products, reprocesses, etc. That is why this sector cannot afford to lower its guard, since, in Peru, the due sector is very competitive and should not contemplate affections in its daily operations. This thinking makes the company within the sector representative, providing quality in its final product leading to profitability. That is why, when this proposal is proposed to control and reduce the detriment (non-conforming product) of a non-alcoholic beverage company in the Peruvian industrial sector using Lean Manufacturing, this methodology will consolidate techniques such as ABC analysis, FIFO method, inventory policies and KANBAN, exploding in a visual management system to mitigate the damage generated by expiration in warehouse. To this is also added a visual management system and palletizing techniques in the production lines with the aim of reducing the detriment due to bad packaging and, finally, to reduce the detriment of flaccid bottles, ANDON techniques will be used. In summary, this set of Lean Manufacturing methods makes possible a decrease in the detriment ratio from 0.25% to 0.07%, with a total expense per implementation of USD.195,773.47.
