This professional sufficiency work has been carried out by presenting the need for companies to become more competitive, due to the globalization of international markets, as well as to reactivate after the crisis caused by the covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, this improvement project proposes to increase the efficiency of the cereal flake production process of a company in the food industry, which is located in the Ate district, Lima, Peru. To achieve the purpose of being competitive, it is proposed to eliminate the necessary transfers with the use of the SLP; likewise, reduce the times that do not add value to the product during production, standardizing the processes. With this, it will be possible to increase efficiency and fulfill the orders requested by the clients with whom it has contractual commitments. The viability of this project to increase efficiency was validated through the use of the Arena software and the financial analysis of the cash flow.
