Rol y estereotipo de la periodista deportiva en el siglo XXI

Abstract

Teniendo en cuenta que la presencia femenina dentro del ejercicio profesional del periodismo deportivo se ha convertido en un fenómeno social relevante y trascendente, la presente investigación tiene como objeto de estudio el ejercicio de la mujer periodista deportiva y aborda los aspectos del rol y estereotipo de la misma. Es planteada desde el enfoque del ejercicio profesional del periodismo deportivo, esto porque lo que se busca es identificar el rol y estereotipos que se presentan dentro del propio quehacer periodístico. La investigación es de tipo es de tipo básica, explorativa y descriptiva y se apoya en los estudios ya elaborados anteriormente sobre el asunto de la mujer periodista deportiva.

Taking into account that the presence of women in the professional practice of sports journalism has become a relevant and transcendent social phenomenon, this research has as its object of study the practice of women sports journalists and addresses the aspects of their role and stereotypes. It is approached from the perspective of the professional exercise of sports journalism, because it seeks to identify the role and stereotypes that are present within the journalistic work itself. The research is of a basic, explorative and descriptive type and is supported by the studies already elaborated previously on the subject of women sports journalists.
