The objective of this project is to design a proposal to develop a mobile solution that allows knowing the influx of people at the stations of Line One of the Lima Metro. Its target users are people who do not know about the crowds at the stations and they only find out about long queues when they arrive at the station and as a result, they need to wait for about 30 to 50 minutes, according to an OSITRAN report, before they can get on a train. In order to realize the project, solutions which use GPS technologies for the geolocation of objects are investigated. The proposed solution uses the APIs of Google Maps and Google Places to obtain information about the influx of people. Using this data, the analysis is carried out by considering the station and the time of consultation in order to show the details and how recommendable it is to go to the station at a specific time. Finally, the proposed mobile solution allows reporting the influx of people at the stations in real time. This is very useful because it helps people to decide if it is convenient to go and use the service or they need to look for other transportation alternatives.
