In Peru, rice production has increased between 2010 and 2020 according to data consulted in MINAGRI and INEI and part of the product consumed is imported rice, which creates great difficulty for local farmers to be able to compete with this imported rice; mainly Uruguayan rice, whose increase in rice represents 67% of total imports. Part of this great problem faced by national farmers is due to the inefficient production process they have, whose methodology has not changed over the years. This research plan focuses on these farmers and how to improve productivity in their rice crops, so that they can yield higher production per hectare and be a better product of higher quality that competes in the international market. In relation to the study and assessment of the current situation of rice crops in the department of Piura, a methodology based on planning, control and execution of production has been defined, using knowledge base tools in MRPI, MRPII, PMP, etc. in the execution of the designed improvement proposal. This, in order to ensure the forecasted production and a considerable reduction in costs, optimizing the resources used, achieving an increase in productivity.
