The presente project begins with an analysis of the need for housing for exclusive student use, in addition to pointing out the lack of this type of university residences in our country, located in the city of Lima, specifically in the district of Pueblo Libre. In the same way, there is also a high demand from Peruvians who wish to study in the capital, which leads to a massive migration of university students to the capital, Lima. Likewise, the university residence is made up of a collective housing for students of different socioeconomic and cultural levels which accommodates the demands of the area and seeks through public spaces the integration of users and the community. In addition, it has spaces for commercial premises to make it more attractive, access to traditional means of transport, among others. Finally, through an architectural analysis used in the different problems we proceed to a proposal to overcome the main problem raised in the research, thus offering a functional housing that connects to public space, and that covers the most important thing is the needs of all residents during the time of their university studies, achieving a possible model to follow, which, it is hoped, that this analysis can serve as a reference for further research and have a broader vision about this type of typologies, which often do not respond to user needs.
