The present research entitled “Relationship between business intelligence and information management in mining companies that are listed on the Lima Stock Exchange, period 2019-2021“, has the general goal of determining how business intelligence is related with the management of information on mining companies listed on the Lima Stock Exchange. To achieve this goal, a cross-sectional, non-experimental research with a quantitative approach was developed, to which a sample of 41 employees that belong to 14 mining companies was applied. Statistical analysis has been implemented to demonstrate the correlation between Business Intelligence and Information Management. The results obtained in the surveys showed that there is a strong positive correlation between the opinion of the employees of the mining sector of the companies listed on the Lima Stock Exchange, on the dimensions of information management. It should be noted that the information management dimensions where the correlation is sustained are the efficiency in information management (0,412) and the commitment of senior management with the implementation and use of BI tools (0,358), while the correlation in the quality of the information is not significant (0,284). Finally, the conclusions of the study are presented and some recommendations are suggested to be implemented in companies in the mining sector, so that in this way they can implement or improve Business Intelligence tools for optimal information management.
