Due to the quarantine and the constant concern about contagion as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is estimated that the number of cases of depression in the population of Perú has increased by 12% (MINSA, 2022). Likewise, the monitoring of depression is carried out in person, which creates a necessity for virtual monitoring of depressive patients. The purpose of this thesis is the development of a technological tool for monitoring the treatment of mild and moderate depressive disorder supported by text analysis. Meanwhile, the most frequent problems are treatment desertion due to the low economic resources of the patient or the impossibility of attending their appointments. The proposed solution is a mobile application that allows information to be collected through the traditional method of psychological tests and an innovative method called therapeutic diary, which analyzes and filters patient data in order to present dashboards that allow the treating psychiatrist to monitor the progress of the patient. This application allows the use of state of art technological tools to adapt the depression monitoring process to virtuality, adding additional sources of data collection and analysis.
