This project, located in the city of Lima, consists of a highly complex hospital that will specifically serve children, so the most appropriate name is the Specialized Institute for Children's Health. What was sought to be achieved with this project is to complement the functions of the existing Children's Hospital on Av. Brasil, through a new hospital with hospital units that have efficient and direct connections with each other; with a greater capacity of hospital beds and ICU / NICU beds, specialized offices, an emergency area with easy access, a special unit for burn care, dialysis, teaching and research, rehabilitation, diagnosis and treatment. All these units among others have been considered essential and essential in a specialized institute. Likewise, it was sought to ensure that the architecture of the project is spatially configured in strategic areas with physical and visual connections with green areas, materials and insertion of nature and functionally with innovative spaces specially designed for the use of parents, relatives, health personnel. and essentially for patients with the aim of improving their emotional comfort during their hospital stay, whether it is short, medium or long stay. Consequently, what is fundamentally wanted to be achieved with this project is that it has Hospital Units that are functionally efficient and that are spatially configured in certain spaces to improve the well-being of users during their hospital stay.
