The objective of this research was to identify the relationship between Self-concept and Social Skills in adolescents with a clinical diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), in a sample obtained from a private institution specialized in mental health care. For these 50 adolescents of both sexes (52% men and 48% women) were included, with an age range between 10 and 19 years (M = 15, SD = 2.08). The instruments applied were the Social Skills scale (Oliva et al., 2011) and the Form 5 Self-concept Questionnaire (Musitu & García, 1999). The analysis of the results shows a positive relationship between Self-concept and Social Skills, expressed in the correlations made, being statistically significant (p < .05). On the other hand, a weak correlation was observed between Communicative Skills with Social Self-Concept (r = .36, p < .05) and Emotional (r = .35, p < .05). However, a moderate correlation was observed between Skills Communication and Physical Self-concept (r = .63, p < .001). The same thing happened in the case of Academic Self-Concept, which was moderately correlated with Assertiveness (r = .66, p < .001) and weakly correlated with Conflict Resolution (r = .32, p < .05).
