The objective of this research was to determine the degree of influence exerted by the implementation of a behavior-based safety program (SBC) for the reduction of risky behaviors in collaborators in the company Cargo Transport S.A.C., associated with mining activities, 2021. The study method was analytical-synthetic and hypothetical-deductive, applied and field research, mixed approach (qualitative-quantitative), descriptive and explanatory level, interpretive experimental and longitudinal design (3 months), with the direct observation technique, using descriptive and inferential statistics for the validation of the proposal. The validation test of the alternative hypothesis of the researcher that was applied was the Wilcoxon test, seeking to corroborate that the average number of risky behaviors in the post-test (after implementing the SBC program) is lower compared to the number observed in the pre-test. test (before implementing the SBC program). Since a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, which is less than the established significance value of 0.05 (5%), the null hypothesis is rejected and the researcher's alternative hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it is verified that: the implementation of a behavior-based safety program (SBC) in the company Cargo Transport S.A.C. Antamina Operation significantly influences the reduction of the number of risky behaviors by employees, in fuel transportation operations associated with mining activities.
