Currently, one of the main drawbacks that arise in payment processing companies are incidents in the payment transaction service, basically in the operations that are carried out daily, taking into account that these operations are a fundamental part of the operation of the services, and therefore, of the economic income of financial organizations, such as: Niubiz, Izipay, Mercado Pago, Pay U, Safety Pay, Alignet and Pay Pal, which must respect service level agreements (SLA) that they have with their clients, in order to establish and strengthen the quality of the services provided, as well as obtain the best reputation in the technological market, providing the best solutions for the clients who hire said services. On the other hand, it was evidenced that the incidents presented to users are not correctly identified or solved on time, in addition, there is no established process to manage these incidents, generating a great loss of time in their resolution and affecting Business Continuity furthermore, with the pandemic moment that is experienced worldwide from March 2020 to the present. Consequently, and according to the needs identified, the following thesis project is delivered in order to develop an incident management model to be able to define specific processes that allow the identification, prioritization and resolution of incidents in the payment transaction service. The study will be based on the best practices of the ITIL 4 framework, ISO 2000 and some additional methodologies.
