This thesis work was carried out in a textile company BEROMADA, located in Ca. Los Industriales 131 SMP. An applied and correlational research was carried out, which consists of the application of the Lean Manufacturing methodology for the reduction of waste generated in the industry of woven tapes with customized designs and thus increase the profits of the small companies involved. Through an analysis of the production lines, BEROMADA found that the line of woven tapes for dogs is strategic because it has higher sales levels than the rest. Additionally, it was detected that this line has inefficiency and waste. These are the reasons that lead the company to invest resources in order to improve processes and consequently reduce waste levels of polypropylene yarns using the Lean philosophy. The implementation of Lean Manufacturing begins. The proposed model follows the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) continuous improvement cycle and the application of Lean tools such as 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitzuke), Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance (Pillars of Total Productive Maintenance) and Poka Yoke. Here we proceed with the formation of the Lean team and the development of proposals for a Preventive Maintenance Plan and the implementation of the proposed Poka Yoke. Processes are diagrammed, waste is identified, and lean manufacturing indicators are established. Subsequently, the economic impact is evaluated through Standard Costing and Finally, a consolidation of benefits at the level of improvements by indicators and costs is carried out.
