This research seeks to compare the resilience according to gender in 250 sons of victims of terrorism from the Huancayo city (46.8% men and 53.2% women), whose ages range between 20 and 35 years (M age = 23). The Resilience Scale (ER) was used. The results reported that there are no statistically significant differences when comparing the 4 factors of Resilience, Confidence and Feeling good alone (t= .48, p =.96, d=.01), Equanimity (t= -.07 p= .94, d=-.01), Self-acceptance (t= .03, p= .98, d=.00) and Perseverance (t=.39, p=.70, d=.05) between men and women. It is recommended to continue conducting research related to resilience according to gender, however, in the present, a difference was not obtained in the sample based on gender. However, this can be used as a variable, since the results will depend on the characteristics of the population and their experiences.
