The objective of the research was to propose strategies to improve the transport logistics of a civil works contractor, determining the logistics operations that do not add value to the process and generate an increase in transport costs. The methodology was based in the first place, on the diagnosis of the company, through a mapping of the value chain and the verification of the procedures through a complete mapping of the logistics process, determining the activity that does not generate value to the transport logistics, After verifying the problem and the root causes, they were analyzed using the cause-effect diagram, the nominal group technique, the Pareto diagram and the 5W, obtaining 4 causes that represent 82.08% of the problem, then a Gantt chart was made for the planning of the implementation of the strategies, in which it lasted 24 days, then the supply chain and characteristic of the transportation process were developed, CTQ's were established, the cycle time for the process capacity, where a Cp = 0.05, Cpk <1, sigma level of 3 where the non-compliance of 49% is detailed, then a SWOT analysis was carried out where 12 strategies were obtained to apply, after prioritizing the same , the following were developed: 1) mission and vision strategies, 2) procedures for transport logistics management and 3) supplier evaluation.
