This research work aims to provide a solution to the current problem of low quality electrical service provided by ADINELSA to the twelve communities that make up the rural electrical system Datem del Marañón by implementing photovoltaic solutions off grid and the application of the PHVA cycle of continuous improvement, which guarantees compliance with the quality standards established by the Technical Standard of Quality of Rural Electrical Services (NTCSER in spanish) and the sustainability of the solution. To this end, theoretical research was carried out on the various solution alternatives available in the market and the successful experiences developed in similar environments. Likewise, applying various industrial engineering tools, the current situation is analyzed, identifying the main factors that determine the low perception of service quality, its root causes, impacts and possible alternatives of solution. In a complementary manner, the various existing quality management methodologies are analyzed in order to define one that allows compliance with regulatory quality standards and ensures continuous improvement. The research provides a tailor-made solution for each community, considering an investment project with a 15-year evaluation horizon and is based on the economic, environmental and social benefits it brings to investors and the communities involved. Finally, a simulation of the quality improvement of service levels achieved with the implementation is carried out by enhancing the quality achieved.
