In recent years, sensory marketing has been given greater importance, as it helps us understand what emotions your consumer arouses that leads to their purchasing behaviors and which senses are heightened the most within the shopping experience. Within the market of cafes or coffee specialty shops, sensory marketing plays a very important role, since within these establishments it lends itself to being able to play with the five senses and thus create an emotional bond between the coffee shop and the consumer. Therefore, the following research evaluates the relationship between the five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) and the purchasing behavior of customers of coffees belonging to zones 6 and 7 of Metropolitan Lima that have consumed in coffee shops in the last 3 months before the start of mandatory social isolation in Perú due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used for the research was non-experimental, descriptive and correlational. For this research, 400 surveys were conducted to determine the relationship between sensory marketing and purchasing behavior in cafes. The 400 surveys are divided into the following four clusters: group 1 (17 – 22 years), group 2 (23 – 35 years), group 3 (36 – 59 years) and group 4 (60 – more).
