Abstract: La finalidad del presente trabajo es plasmar todo el proceso que se ha llevado a cabo para poner en marcha la idea de negocio PetGeo. La misma tangibiliza el ofrecer a las personas, preocupadas por el bienestar de su mascota, la protección de las mismas, mediante el control de su localización en tiempo real a través de un collar y un aplicativo móvil. La viabilidad se evalúa en la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana en Perú y se resalta la existencia de la comunidad de Petlovers, que gastaría, proyectado para el 2021, un monto de S/. 893,5 millones anuales, en alimentación y productos para el cuidado de sus mascotas. En este sentido, el procedimiento se divide en cuatro partes principales. La primera contiene los fundamentos iniciales y la determinación del tamaño de mercado. La segunda parte comprende la validación del modelo de negocio por medio de observación del segmento de cliente y su intención de uso de la propuesta de valor de los experimentos. La tercera parte contiene la ejecución y aprendizajes del concierge. La quinta parte, finalmente, engloba el desarrollo del plan de negocio, desde el Plan Estratégico, de Operaciones, de Recursos Humanos, de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, de Marketing, Financiero, hasta el Plan de Financiamiento y el cronograma para la puesta en marcha de PetGeo.
The purpose of this work is to capture the entire process that has been carried out to start up the PetGeo business idea. It allows the tangibility to offer people, concerned about the well-being of their pet, the protection of them, by controlling their location in real time through a collar and a mobile application. This project viability is evaluated in the city of Lima in Peru; the existence of the Petlovers community is highlighted, since they would spend, as it has been projected for 2021, an amount of 893.5 million of soles annually, in food and pet care products. In this sense, the procedure is divided into four main parts. The first part contains the initial bases and the determination of the market size. The second part includes the validation of the business model through observation of the customer segment and its intention to use the value proposal of the experiments. The third part contains the execution and learning of the concierge. The fifth part, finally, includes the development of the business plan, from the Strategic, Operations, Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, Marketing, Financial, to the Financing Plan and the activities schedule for the implementation of PetGeo.
