Abstrac: This research is aimed at knowing the impact of Fair Trade taking into account three principles of certification: fair price, respect for the environment and creation of opportunities in cocoa exports from the San Martin Region to the Netherlands between 2009 and 2018 The need of small producers to differentiate themselves and increase the value of their product arouses interest in opting for Fair Trade certification, which promotes social, economic, environmental development and allows highlighting the quality of Peruvian cocoa demanded by European countries. This study analyzes whether the certification increased exports that, thanks to this, it is possible to invest in companies, cooperatives and producers made up of families from the San Martín Region. Likewise, this research serves as a reference to reveal a sustainable proposal over time. The first chapter highlights the theories of economic integration, solidarity collaboration networks and others related to the objective. In the second chapter the problem, hypotheses and objectives regarding the impact of certification on cocoa exports are raised. The research methodology is descriptive non-experimental transversal with a mixed approach. In chapter four, qualitative information is analyzed with Atlas.ti with a deductive and frequency method of words, while quantitative information (macro data and surveys) uses the SPSS with regression, factorial and discriminant analysis. In the fifth chapter, the hypotheses are validated after relating each result and, finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented.
