Nowadays, the Peruvian economic market is increasingly competitive in terms of its rapid and strong growth. This affects various sectors, among which is Retail; within it, we can find convenience stores, which are currently expanding greatly and exponentially. This research has worked the relationship between the InStore strategies that these formats can provide to their customers with the referral to the purchase of perishable products in their located stores in Metropolitan Lima. Consequently, to understand more about this topic, a mixed methodology was worked because it used qualitative and quantitative analysis and techniques with the objective to encompass more quality data. It is also important to signalize that the techniques used for data collection were interviews and focus groups for qualitative and surveys for quantitative information. Therefore, it was found that the two factors that influence the purchase decision of perishable food in Lima Convenience Store are Economy and Ambient Store strategies due to its score and rejection of the null hypothesis within the study. In the case of Product Strategy and Customer Experience — the other strategies — was found that, for the determined sample of young people in their twenties to thirties, it was obtained as a result that the factors have no relation nor any influence with respect to the purchase of these foods in these type of retailers.
