The objective of this research is to validate that the relationship between the elements of the perceived quality of service and the purchase decision is inverse in the casual dress category in department stores of the Cono Norte of Lima in women over 18 years of age. The study begins with research in secondary sources with the aim of defining the concepts of brand image, quality of service and purchase decision. Likewise, it focuses, in the first instance, on knowing the current context of the department stores in the Cono Norte of Lima, through the use of first-hand evidence. Later, the research uses a mixed methodology, qualitative and quantitative, with a correlational descriptive scope. In the qualitative phase, focus groups are carried out with the primary target audience of the research and the information is broadened with in-depth and structured interviews with experts on issues of quality of service, retailers of the North Cone and social behavior of the primary public. Finally, in the quantitative phase a questionnaire is applied to a sample of 384 people.
