Since the beginning of the year 2000, the mining boom regained its dynamism and consolidation, generating sustained economic growth. With the opening of the economy, and the growth of demand, large global mining companies set their sights on Peru, for the discovery of new mineral-rich deposits, especially copper. These companies have developed investment projects for billions of dollars, which has allowed the growth and development of our economy, in activities directly and indirectly related to each and every one of their processes. This has allowed a greater demand for skilled labor, as well as the development of a market of thousands of suppliers seeking to do business with these companies. As they have been developing and specializing suppliers, in each of the activities of large-scale mining, from exploration, development and preparation, infrastructure construction, equipment and implementation, to exploitation and production. In each of these activities there are many opportunities to participate and provide supply services, especially for uncatalogued products and various supplies, which are not essential but necessary, and that require adequate supplies. This paper seeks to explain how a supplier can increase its market share, its turnover and profitability, decentralizing its operations based on its experience of a business model that has been successful, but limited to its location initial.
