Análisis del estado funcional y condición operacional del pavimento flexible de la avenida José Gabriel Condorcanqui entre la Calle 15 y avenida Indoamérica

Abstract

The main objective of the research work called ““Analysis of the functional state and operational condition of the flexible pavement of José Gabriel Condorcanqui avenue between Calle 15 and Avenida Indoamérica““ is to analyze the current state of the pavement using the PCI methodology. The mentioned method is based on conducting a study through in situ recognition in order to analyze the current situation of the pavement under study. Thus, with the support of the manual, the types of damage found in both sections will be classified and thus define what kind of treatment and / or repair it needs. Its development is based primarily on the preliminary inspection of the pathologies found on José Gabriel Condorcanqui avenue between 15th Street and Indoamérica avenue to later make the respective record. Consequently, according to the equation established by the manual, 11 sample units were obtained in both lanes and, based on this, its area and the corresponding severity level were estimated in each fault. Afterwards, the corrected deduced values were estimated to obtain the PCI for all the sample units, thus, to be determined with a value of 55, which means that their classification is 'Regular'. Therefore, it is indicated that the functional and operational situation of the pavement requires a cold asphalt mix re-coating in the damages found to maintain its uniformity and thus be able to preserve its useful life

En el trabajo de investigación llamado “Análisis del estado funcional y condición operacional del pavimento flexible de la avenida José Gabriel Condorcanqui entre la Calle 15 y la avenida Indoamérica” tiene como objeto principal analizar el estado actual del pavimento mediante la metodología PCI. El método mencionado se basa en hacer un estudio a través del reconocimiento in situ con el fin de analizar la situación actual del pavimento en estudio. Es así, que con apoyo del manual se clasificarán los tipos de daños encontrados en ambos tramos y así definir qué clase de tratamiento y/o reparación necesita. Su desarrollo se basa primeramente en la inspección preliminar de las patologías encontradas de la avenida José Gabriel Condorcanqui entre la Calle 15 y la avenida Indoamérica para después hacer el registro respectivo. Por consiguiente, según la ecuación establecida por el manual se obtuvo 11 unidades de muestra en ambos carriles y sobre ello se estimó en cada falla su área y el nivel de severidad que corresponde. Después, se estimó los valores deducidos corregidos para la obtención de PCI para todas las unidades de muestra, así pues, determinarse con un valor de 55 que significa que su clasificación es ‘Regular’. Por lo tanto, se indica que la situación funcional y operacional del pavimento necesita un recapeo de mezcla asfáltica en frío en los daños encontrados para que se mantenga su uniformidad y poder así conservar su vida útil.
