The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship that exists between female leadership and its contextual performance in footwear Mypes of the El Porvenir district. With a basic quantitative approach with a simple correlational cross-sectional non-experimental design, the instrument that was applied was the questionnaire adapted from Debeljuh (2013 cited in Álvarez, 2019) for the variable female leadership and that of Coleman and Borman (2000 ) adapted to Spanish by Díaz et al. (2012) for contextual performance, the same ones that were validated by the judgment of experts in the field and, through Aiken's V, whose results were 0.89 and 0.92, being greater than 0.70, it was possible to conclude that the instruments were valid . The reliability obtained was verified by the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, whose results were 0.826 for female leadership and 0.922 for contextual performance, which being greater than 0.70 it was possible to conclude that the instruments were reliable; The population was 752 and a sample of 67 leaders of footwear Mypes from the El Porvenir district. The data analysis was carried out using the IBM Statistics version 25 software, for which descriptive statistics were used to determine the level of the variables female leadership and contextual performance, the results of which were that the leaders of the surveyed footwear Mypes, 89.55% maintains a high level of female leadership and 56.72% a medium high level of contextual performance. It was concluded that there is a relationship between female leadership and their contextual performance with a very high degree of association with a value of 1,000 and a considerable positive correlation of r = 0.525 in the Mypes of footwear in the El Porvenir district.
