The main objective of the research is to determine the structural design of rigid pavement and storm drainage for the San Luis Sector in the District of Chepén, La Libertad. For which, the following were developed on Atahualpa Street and its surrounding streets in the Luis Sector: The poor condition of the existing flexible pavement was verified by observation, A topographic survey to obtain the characteristics of the terrain using the CHCNAV i50 GNSS Receiver, A vehicular study to determine the vehicle load using the observation guide, A study of soil mechanics in order to determine the CBR for the pavement design. From this, the structural design of the rigid pavement of the San Luis Sector, made up of Atahualpa Street and its surrounding streets, was determined according to the Technical Standard CE.010 – Urban Pavements and the Highway Manual: Soils, Geology, Geotechnics and Pavements – Soils and Pavements Section (R.D. No. 10-2014-MTC/14). Then, a proposal for Storm Drainage was made in the area, taking into account the Technical Standard O.S.060 – Urban Storm Drainage and a proposal for Vertical Signage and Horizontal Signage, taking into account the Manual of Devices for the Control of Automotive Traffic for the Streets and Highways (RD N°016-2016-MTC/14). The results obtained were: The IMDA of the different vehicles that travel in the San Luis Sector had a total of 1830 vehicles per day. The CBR that has been used in the structural design of the pavement was 15%. The Topography is considered flat and has a slope of less than 1%. The structural design of the rigid pavement is made up of 15 cm of granular base, 15 cm of concrete slab and 35 cm of Classified Concrete as subgrade. The storm drainage proposal considers a ditch dimension of 0.50m (width) x 0.30m (depth). The proposal for Vertical Signage considered the type: P – 48 and for Horizontal Signage three types of demarcations were considered. In accordance with what was stated above, the proposal for the structural design of rigid pavement and storm drainage for the San Luis Sector in the District of Chepén, La Libertad, meets the criteria of Technical Standard CE.010 – Urban Pavements, the Manual of Roads: Soils, Geology, Geotechnics and Pavements – Soils and Pavements Section (R.D. No. 10-2014- MTC/14), the Technical Standard O.S.060 – Urban Storm Drainage and the Manual of Devices for the Control of Automotive Traffic for Streets and Highways (RD N°016-2016-MTC/14).
