enfermedad de hígado graso no alcohólico (OR: 3,34; IC 95% [1,80 - 6,22]; p
0,000), hipercolesterolemia (OR 2,050; IC 95% [1,103-3,809]; p 0,022), anemia
(OR 3,154; IC 95% [1.253-7,938]; p 0,011) y plaquetopenia (OR 13,818; IC 95%
[3,578-53,367]; p 0,003).
enfermedad de hígado graso no alcohólico (OR: 3,131; IC 95% [1,533- 6,394]; p
To determine if nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is associated with psoriasis in patients treated in a external query of dermatology of Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital from Trujillo between 2015-2018. Material and methods: An analytical, observational, retrospective, cross- sectional study was carried out. The study population consisted of 196 patients according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria established and were divided into two groups: with and without psoriasis. The chi-square test was used for qualitative variables. Multivariate analysis was performed using logistic regression in order to calculate the adjusted OR whit its 95% CI. The asocciation of the factor and the event was significant for a p value ≤ 0.05. Results: The bivariate analysis identified as variables associated with psoriasis a the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(OR: 3,34; IC 95% [1,80 - 6,22]; p 0,000), hypercholesterolemia (OR 2,050; IC 95% [1,103-3,809]; p 0,022), anemia (OR 3,154; IC 95% [1.253-7,938]; p 0,011) y platelet disease OR 13,818; IC 95% [3,578-53,367]; p 0,003). The multivariate analysis only identified as a variable associated with psoriasis a the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(ORa: 3,131; IC 95% [1,533- 6,394]; p 0,002). Conclusion: Non- alcoholic fatty liver disease is associated with psoriasis in patients treated in a external query of dermatology between 2015-2018. Hypercholesterolemia, anemia and platelet disease are variables thar are independently associated with psoriasis.
