The present study is of a descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional type, whose objective was to determine the association of the humanized care of the nurse and the satisfaction of the postoperated patient mediated at the Belén de Trujillo Hospital. The sample consisted of 207 patients who met the inclusion criteria, to whom two instruments were applied; The first instrument determines the humanized care provided by the nursing professional to the mediated postoperative patient, and the second instrument called Care-Q determines the patient's satisfaction with the care received. The data was processed with the SPSS-Version 25.0 program; The results obtained were that 42.0% of patients reported that average human care is provided, 33.8% with optimal care and 24.2% received low care provided by the nursing professional. Regarding satisfaction, 51.7% of patients were dissatisfied, while 48.3% of patients were satisfied with nursing care. Given the association of humanized care and the satisfaction of the postoperated patient, there is a relationship, 33.8% of patients reported that they are given optimal humanized care and therefore were satisfied; on the other hand, 27.5% received medium humanized care, being dissatisfied; Finally, 24.2% mentioned that they were given a humanized care while being dissatisfied.
