Propuesta de Diseño del Sistema de Drenaje Pluvial Urbano de la Ciudad de Huamachuco, Sánchez Carrión, La Libertad

Abstract

La sierra Liberteña se caracteriza principalmente por sus constantes y considerables precipitaciones que van desde el mes de diciembre hasta el mes de abril. La ciudad de Huamachuco ubicada en la Provincia de Sánchez Carrión, Departamento de La Libertad es afectada por este fenómeno durante esta época del año. Por ello es necesario la implementación de un sistema de drenaje pluvial urbano eficiente, ya que el existente no abastece con la escorrentía generada, además de encontrarse discontinuo. Mediante los datos históricos registrados por la estación meteorológica Huanagacocha se realizó un análisis estadístico de distribución de la información. Así mismo, se efectuó el estudio hidrológico para la obtención de la precipitación e intensidad de diseño y de las curvas IDF. Además, se realizaron los estudios topográficos y de mecánica de suelos, los cuales arrojaron valores que permitieron efectuar el modelamiento del sistema en el software EPA SWMM. Se obtuvo finalmente la escorrentía generada en las distintas zonas de la ciudad, como también el caudal captado por los colectores el cual va a dar a una disposición final, fuente hídrica natural. Logrando así alcanzar el objetivo principal, el cual es proponer un diseño de sistema de drenaje pluvial urbano en la ciudad de Huamachuco

The Liberteña highlands are mainly caracterized by their constant and considerable rainfall, ranging from December to April. Huamachuco city located in the Province of Sánchez Carrión, Department of La Libertad is affected by this phenomenon during this time of year. Thus is necessary to implement an efficient urban storm drainage system, insomuch as the existing system does not supply with the runoff generated, in addition to being discontinuous. Using the historical data recorded by the Huanagacocha weather station, a statistical analysis of information distribution was carried out. Also, the hydrological study was carried out to obtain the precipitation and design intensity and the IDF curves. Beside, topographic and soil mechanics studies were carried out, which yielded values that allowed the modeling of the system in the EPA SWMM software. Finally, the runoff generated in the different areas of the city was obtained, as well as the flow captured by the collectors which will give a final disposal, a natural water source. Thus achieving the main objective, which is to propose a design of urban storm drainage system in Huamachuco city
