Our cultural identity is linked to the legacy of our ancestors, and it is a heritage that we must preserve and make prevail over time. For this reason, the present research work has as a general purpose, to define a specific architectural programming for the application in the development of the Site Museum Project in Wiraqochapampa and Interpretation Centers for the Archaeological Sites of the Wamachuko Civilization, which starts as a direct proposal Executing Unit 007 - Marcahuamachuco, where it stipulates in its management instrument; The Management Plan and Tourist Use of the Monumental Archaeological Complex of Marcahuamachuco, the programs to enable museums and interpretation centers. The research is developed in three fundamental parts: The first part consists of describing the Physical, Urban and Socio Cultural Context of the Huamachuco district and its area of influence, which will determine the conditions for the project and a series of needs for visitors. All this through the analysis and description of the urban reality and the archaeological potential of the field of study supported by the bibliographic and investigative material of the Executing Unit 007 - Marcahuamachuco. The second part consists of identifying the Users, the relationships between their activities and environments that they configure, through their requirements and their close relationship with the museum script predetermined by the dynamics of the existing archaeological sites. Finally, the third part consists of the analysis of the analogous models of buildings with common typological characteristics, such as; The Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum located in Lambayeque, the Julio C. Tello Site Museum located in Paracas and the Pachacamac Site Museum located in Lurín, the latter with contemporary culture to the legacy of Marcahuamachuco. In addition to this, the analysis of the Caminito del Rey Interpretation Center located in Malaga - Spain was also carried out, for the consideration of environments and design criteria in the projection of the previous reception for visitors when starting the tour of each archaeological site of Marcahuamachuco and the Cerro Miraflores. In order to generate an attractive archaeological tourist circuit among the archaeological sites belonging to the Wamachuko Civilization between the years 950 BC. c. until 1100 AD. c. that manifest their greatness in their magnificent archaeological constructions. Finally, we designed the integral architectural project of the Site Museum in Wiraqochapampa and Interpretation Centers for the Archaeological Sites of Marcahuamachuco and El Cerro Miraflores, all of these belonging to the legacy of the Wamachuko Civilization, for the enhancement of the Archaeological Site of Cerro Miraflores and El Monumental Archaeological Complex of Marcahuamachuco declared as one of the Seven Wonders of Peru and Cultural Heritage of the Nation as well as the Archaeological City of Wiraqochapampa.
