Objective: Follow-up of residual diuresis and serum albumin levels in patients during the first months of admission to dialysis, Type of study: quantitative, observational, longitudinal, analytical and prospective, we identify patients admitted to dialysis of social security older than 18 years, we followed up 60 patients admitted to dialysis in the hospital's nephrology service, 6 to peritoneal dialysis, 54 to hemodialysis, during this period 5 patients died, so our study population was 55, the samples in the first, third and fifth month, of albumin, residual diuresis, intervening variables: age, sex, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dosage of: creatinine, urea, hemoglobin, calcium, phosphorus, KTV. Analysis: statistical software SPSS® 26.0., the normality of distribution was verified, so that the quantitative data were presented in medians and interquartile ranges and the qualitative variables in frequencies. Bivariate analysis was performed. Results: At 5 months after the start of dialysis, the decrease in diuresis of 1000 cc was from 57% to 21.8%, and albumin of 3.5 gr/dl decreased at 5 months from 74 to 52%
