Determine the factors associated with computer visual syndrome in medical students at the Antenor Orrego Private University period march 2021 - august 2021. Material and methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out, in which 179 students of the human medicine career were included, investigating its association with some factors: they were divided into 2 groups: patients with or without visual computer syndrome; applying the statistical test chi square. Results: The prevalence of visual computer syndrome in human medicine students was 85%. Female sex, migraine, the use of glasses and the number of hours of computer use were significantly associated in people with computer vision syndrome (p <0.05). The symptom with the highest prevalence was burning 63.1% with moderate severity; Symptoms significantly associated with the female sex were tearing, heaviness of the eyelids, increased sensitivity to light, and headache (p <0.05).
