The purpose of this research work is to propose a Design of a Warehouse Management System to increase the accuracy of the inventory record of the company Corporación Copper Cave SAC through; which through the guidelines, procedures and instructions that are proposed are intended to normalize the operations of the main processes: reception; storage and offices; generating records that will allow evidence of the completion of the process. It is therefore; which began by making a diagnosis of the current situation of the accuracy of inventory registration, identifying an economic loss of up to 245,686,039 nuevos soles, with its level of compliance being an average of approximately 84% considering the months from March to August of the year 2022. Therefore, to ensure the company's inventory control, internal guidelines were developed; procedures and instructions that will allow an orderly methodology to be followed to improve the efficiency of the personnel in charge of the warehouses. Likewise; A Layout optimization proposal was designed to maximize occupancy by position and improve route flow through the analysis of consumption patterns by sub-family in the Rapidminer software; obtaining a reduction of 40 positions with an optimization of 13.93%. Finally, the expected scales were defined to measure the accuracy of inventory registration in 3 categories: low, which is less than 99.9%; average that is between 99.9% and 99.98% and greater than 99.98%, which is acceptable by the company
