This thesis was developed in Trujillo, with the main objective being the evaluation of the loss of workability and strength parameters of concrete when adding limestone filler; leading to the execution of a quantitative and experimental methodology based on the analysis of a sample consisting of 200 cylindrical specimens and 30 beams distributed at evaluation ages of 3, 7, 28 and 56 days of curing in the case of compression resistance; and, 28 and 56 days for flexural strength, considering a standard concrete and 4 experimental concretes corresponding to doses of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% replacement of cement with limestone filler, all projected for a f'c 210kg/cm2; whose results show that workability improves depending on the increase in the dose used; while, the resistance to compression and flexion tend to decrease progressively depending on the replacement percentage; However, at 5% and 10% the design resistance in compression is exceeded; Furthermore, with 5% the modulus of rupture increases with respect to the standard concrete; Therefore, it is concluded that the optimal percentage is 5%, since it exceeds the design resistance in terms of compression, improves flexural resistance and offers more workability in the fresh state.
