The present research work: ““Knowledge and nursing care of central venous catheter in pronated COVID-19 patients in Intensive Care of the Hospital Virgen de la Puerta Trujillo 2021““. Its objective is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing care of central venous catheter in pronated COVID-19 patients of said hospital. It is an explanatory, correlational study, whose sample is 70 nurses, to whom a questionnaire was applied to measure their level of knowledge and a checklist to evaluate CVC care in pronated COVID-19 patients. 79% have high knowledge in central venous catheter care in pronated COVID-19 patients, while 21% have poor knowledge. 89% perform good CVC maintenance care, 19% provide poor CVC cure, 70% of nurses with a good level of knowledge perform good CVC care in pronated COVID-19 patients, while 13 % with poor knowledge perform poor CVC care. Concluding that there is a direct relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing care of central venous catheter in pronated patients with COVID-19.
