Propiedades psicométricas del inventario de respuestas de afrontamiento al estrés en universitarios del último semestre de una universidad de Piura

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario de respuestas de Afrontamiento al Estrés en alumnos universitarios del último semestre académico de una universidad de Piura. El test utilizado fue el Inventario de respuestas de Afrontamiento al Estrés cuyo autor es Edmundo Arévalo Luna, para dicha investigación se empleó una muestra de 380 universitarios entre hombres y mujeres del último semestre académico entre 18 y 25 años, los cuales fueron seleccionados mediante el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Los resultados obtenidos determinaron las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario de respuestas de Afrontamiento al Estrés en estudiantes universitarios de la ciudad de Piura, donde se pudo demostrar que los ítems miden lo que realmente desean medir y son consistentes en el tiempo. Se concluye certificando que el Inventario de Afrontamiento al Estrés presenta propiedades psicométricas adaptados a la población universitaria de Piura.

The current research had as a goal to determine the psychometric properties of the inventory of answers about confronting stress among university students of the last academic semester at a university in Piura. The applied test was the inventory of answers about confronting stress whose author is Edmundo Arévalo Luna. For this research we used a sample of 380 university students, men and women from the last academic semester aged 18-25 years old who were selected according to a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. The obtained outcomes determined psychometric properties of the inventory of answers about confronting stress of the universities of students in Piura city, and so we could demonstrate that the items measure what they really want to measure and that they are consistent in time. We conclude by certifying that the inventory about confronting stress presents psychometric properties adapted to the university population in Piura.
